WazaJJ offers a unique affiliation with both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo 

Here at Waza Ju-Jitsu we believe in martial arts and the power it holds to change people’s lives for the better. As martial artists we are all branches from the same tree. 

Our affiliation program has no interest in “taking anyone” from one martial art to ours, but rather to give them the opportunity to experience our art in their own school.

Let’s face it… With the fast growth of the grappling arts and mixed martial arts in general, we as martial artists and instructors need to keep up with the changing times. Instead of losing students “to the other side of the fence,” why not bring that knowledge into your own school!

Q&A

What kind of perks do I get as an affiliate school?

As an affiliate school:

• You will have access to experienced coaches who will run and structure WazaJJ classes within your school for you and your students.
• Weekly curriculum that all affiliate schools, as well as our WazaJJ HQ, follow from week to week.
• Legitimate ranking in either or both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo.
• All affiliate members are welcome to train with us at our HQ, provided that it does not stand against the wishes of their instructor at their home school.

How are members tested and ranked?

• All members who wish to belt under WazaJJ are evaluated and tested by our Black belts. Rank is determined by time, dedication, effort and technical knowledge.

What if I want to eventually run my own WazaJJ classes?

• We offer an option for you to jump on board our instructor program. You will train with us and work your way up to the point of instructing classes in your school under WazaJJ.

Any extras?

Yes! 

• All affiliated schools will have the opportunity to host black belt seminars in your school for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and/or Judo.
• You will have opportunities to hold in house grappling tournaments as well as access to training for outside tournaments.

This all sounds great but how much does this affiliation cost?

Our affiliation is priced to be fair and competitive with other Jiu-Jitsu and Judo affiliations. The price depends on the services and packages your school requires.
